You can buy new or used, one sized or sizes. Pocket diapers, all in ones, covers with prefolds or flats. The choices are endless and it honestly can get a little overwhelming.

Diva Diapers was generous enough to provide me with 3 newborn Blueberry Simplex cloth diapers to review and I absolutely adore them! The diapers are snap closure (which I prefer over aplix) and feature an umbilical cord snap down which will be perfect for that first week or two of Little Boys life! The Simplex diapers come in an arrangement of prints, but I just couldn't resist the little monsters, elephants, and monkeys!
Blueberry Newborn Simplex All In One Diapers are for newborns and infants from 6-16 pounds and the waist of the diaper can be adjusted from 9 to 19 inches! As mentioned previously as well, the diapers have a convenient umbilical cord snap down option to accommodate those first days/weeks of your newborns life. The Newborn Simplex has a waterproof outer layer to prevent leaks and keep baby's clothing dry.
The Simplex is designed openings on both ends, that allow you to increase absorbency by adding extra inserts if needed, and there is a built in insert that is made from 11 layers of absorbent Birdseyes fabric! The built in insert is only sewn on one side allowing for it to get thoroughly cleaned while in the wash, and for more efficient drying time.
Although I do not have a newborn to test the diaper out with, I can tell from over 2 years of experience with cloth diapering that the Simplex Newborn AIO is going to be a fantastic diaper for when Little Boy is here. It has strong snaps, a thick absorbent inner, and a waterproof outer, making this a great diaper and simple diaper for newborns and small infants!
Whether you're shopping for one of the 16 different colors or patterns that Blueberry Newborn Simplex offers, you're shopping for one size diapers, fitteds, covers, or other cloth diapering accessories such as extra inserts, diaper sprayers, cloth wipes, or wet bags, let Diva Diapers be your go-to website for all things cloth! Diva Diapers is located in Palm Coast, Florida and can be reached Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm Eastern time! To be honest, my main reason is money saving. There's so much stuff I have to buy for baby! Though I most certainly feel it's a healthier option for the planet and my little one.
ReplyDeleteThe Blueberry line. Definitely. I've actually had my eye on that brand during my whole TTC journey.
ReplyDeleteI wish I would have with baby #1....I plan to use them when baby 2 comes )
ReplyDeleteI love the Blueberry Elephant print!! I love that you can add additional inserts with these diapers! I haven't tried this brand, but I sure hope to soon!
ReplyDeleteMy daughter cloth diapered her first child from birth and plans to do the same with her new baby due the end of August!
ReplyDeleteThis is my second child but the first time being a stay at home mom. I've never tried cloth diapers but here in November I'll be on the cd band wagon. For us it was a financial decision. I really appreciate your review and just may find myself testing this brand. Thank you
ReplyDeleteI will be using cloth diapers from day one once my baby is born. I am extremely sensitive to chemicals and don't want to expose my baby to them.
ReplyDeleteI have been cloth diapering for almost two years now. Started when my son was 6 months. (took me a while to get enough diapers, and I had to hand wash, every night) but 2 years later, were going strong! wouldn't go back to disposables if you paid me.
ReplyDeleteI would love to try something that I we haven't used yet, I'm kind of eyeballing the Sweetpea OS pocket, or the blueberry AIO!
ReplyDeleteI plan on using cloth because it is both eco and wallet friendly. We wanted to with our first, but then my husband changed his mind, because the washing kind of freaked him out. 5 years later and our little girl is due anytime, and there is no backing out now, the stash has been purchased. I can't wait to see my little girl in her adorable diapers.
ReplyDeleteThe diapers I'm most interested in over at Diva Diapers is the blueberry aio simplex with the elephant print, also have been looking into the best bottoms diapers.
ReplyDeleteI have been cloth diapering for 22 months, which is how old my 3rd child is. I love it and wish I would've started with my first!
ReplyDeleteI've been using cloth for 16 months
ReplyDeleteWe have been using cloth diapers for 3 weeks now (my baby is only 5 weeks old)! They are cost effective, lower the garbage we have and are better for the environment. I have also read they are better on baby skin, so less diaper rash.
ReplyDeleteI like the one size Thirsties diaper
ReplyDeleteOur first is due in October and I am trying my hand at mixed use. I plan on using cloth at home and disposables while we are out and about or on trips/vacation.
ReplyDeleteI am interested in the bumGenius Elementals.
ReplyDeleteWe used cloth starting at 3 months with our first but are due with #2 any day now and plan on doing it from birth so using cloth with NB will be a new experience with us! Very excited though!
ReplyDeleteWhat catches my eye at the moment would be the Blueberry Simplex NB diapers and the Econuts laundry. I have heard about the Econuts an am really intrigued!
ReplyDeleteI love the blueberry AIO simplex,or newborn, in tweet.
ReplyDeleteBeen cloth diapering for 2+ years, and plan to continue with baby number 2 due in November.
ReplyDeleteI like using pocket diapers.
ReplyDeleteThe blueberry monsters is sooo adorable!
ReplyDeleteI have been using cloth diapers for 3 years with my first and plan to use them the entire time with my second as well! :)
ReplyDeleteI love all three diapers you chose, but the elephant pattern is my absolute favorite! SO CUTE!
ReplyDeleteI love the sweet pea OS!
ReplyDeleteI've been using cloth for 9 months.
ReplyDeleteWe used cloth on my son from 9weeks on. He's now potty trained but we'll be using the cloth dipes again on our second child. We loved them!
ReplyDeleteI really want to try the bumGenius Elemental in Hummingbird!
ReplyDeleteGood for baby-Good for the planet-Good for my wallet...that's why we will cloth diaper.
ReplyDeleteI would love to try some Sweet Pea One Size Pocket Diapers.
ReplyDeleteWe will be using cloth diapers on our newborn for multiple reasons but the one which is most important to me is minimizing our child's exposure to chemicals and toxins. Plus, they are so darn cute!
ReplyDeleteI'm using right now with my 3months old and I cloth diaper my first one almost 4 years ago. I started planning before I got pregnant the first time ;=)
ReplyDeleteI have been cloth diapering for about 3 weeks now.
ReplyDeleteI like the bumgenius 4.0 they seem to be very popular, never tried it on my daughter though.
ReplyDeleteWe started cloth in the hospital 10 months ago.
ReplyDeleteBlueberry Side Snap Simplex AIO in butterfly
ReplyDeleteI want the blueberry elephant print. I love all things elephant.
ReplyDeleteThe Thirsties Duo Fab Fitted diaper has my attention.
ReplyDeleteI've been cloth diapering for 2.5 years. We love the money savings and the cute prints are awesome!
ReplyDeleteKayla Rief
I love Thirsties, Blueberry, and bum genius products! I'd like to try a Thirsties hemp prefold or another Blueberry coverall. I've used the Blueberry simplex both Newborn and large and love them too.
ReplyDeleteKayla Rief
We have been cloth diapering since Feb 2010 when my first was 7 months old. She had a sever reaction to disposable diapers, and cloth diapers were the answer to my prayers! We did not use a single disposable diaper with my son, now 2 1/2, and won't with this baby either because I'm terrified of the same reaction.
ReplyDeleteI love http://www.divadiapers.com/bumGenius-40-One-Size-Pocket-Diapers_p_29.html in Albert with Snaps. I have an Albert Flip cover I got for my son, and the print is just too cute for words.
ReplyDeleteI love CD because they are good for baby skin and Enviroment. ANd love Blueberry and BG diapers
ReplyDeletethe review is very informative cloth diapers have sure come a long way over the years I really like that no more pins are needed and the all in one design is great as for pattern choices they are all fun but Ilke the Dino Party an the Elephants
ReplyDeleteit's funny what caught my eye was the cute blueberry prints--- some of which are featured in your photos on this review!!
ReplyDeleteI have one daughter who is 20 months. We have been cloth diapering since she was three weeks old and could fit into the OS diapers. Now that we are trying for number two, I would love to start using cloth right from the beginning!
ReplyDeleteTwo two types of diapers at Diva Diapers that I would like to try are Thirsties AIO and newborn Simplex, since they are supposed to fit for longer then other newborn sized diapers.
ReplyDeleteI never really gave cloth diapering a second thought. It didn't become a part of our lives until we move to SC. All of my friends were cloth diapering mommas. I saw how easy it was and how cute the cloth diapers were. I finally decided to dive right in. We've been cloth diapering for a year now, with our second child, and we will be cloth diapering our daughter due this Christmas Eve.
ReplyDeleteThe greatest thing about cloth diapering is that once the kiddos are potty trained you can make some money back by selling them. Try doing that with disposables >.<
I haven't started yet but really want to start. my little one is a year old but i figure it's never too late to start.
ReplyDeleteswim diapers and amber teething necklaces caught my eye!
ReplyDeleteI've heard great things about the thirsties covers. I will have a newborn any day now and I've heard prefolds are the easiest option when they're so little
ReplyDeleteI've been CDing for 2 years now w/ #2 and I plan on CDing with #3 (due any day now).
ReplyDeleteI've always wanted to try eco nuts
ReplyDeleteI really like the Blueberry Side Snap Simplex AIO Butterfly print diaper! It is so cute and it looks like it would be very durable and comfortable for my little one!
ReplyDeleteI haven't started cloth diapering yet (I don't have enough cloth diapers yet and I want to wait until I can completely switch over), but I can't wait!!
ReplyDeleteJust started CDing with DD#2 - a couple of weeks, not even
ReplyDeleteI've been using them for almost 7 months now!
ReplyDeleteI have not tried this brand before. But I would love to win so I can try them out.
ReplyDeleteI love so many of the diapers they carry - bumgenius, flip, best bottoms, but I have never tried the Blueberry Side Snap Simplex AIO and would love to!
ReplyDeleteThese diapers are so cute! I've used CDs since my baby was about 3 months (I wish I'd had newborn sizes then) and she's 13 months now. I plan on using them for all of my children.
ReplyDeleteI love their Blueberry diapers and the Earth mama angel baby line.
ReplyDeleteWell I'd have to say that I'm using cloth because of cost. I just can't afford 'sposies!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to try the Thirsties one size pocket diaper! (in hoot!!)
ReplyDeletemy baby swim diapers looks nice
ReplyDeleteWe are choosing to CD for economic and environmental reasons :). Can't wait to get started!
ReplyDeleteI'm excited to try the best bottoms AI2, they look like they're very high quality.
ReplyDeleteI really need a Hummingbird BG Freetime with snaps, I'd love to get one!
ReplyDeleteI plan to use cloth because of the environmental impact.
ReplyDeleteThe simplex aio has been on my radar for awhile :)
ReplyDeleteMy favorites so far are Best Bottoms! I love how easy it is to snap and swap the shells, and the low-bulk in the washer is awesome!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to try the Blueberry Capris -- they have so many cute boyish prints.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to try a Flip organic insert (night time or day doesn't matter).
ReplyDeleteI have been using cloth diapers for 3.5 years now! I am cloth diapering my 3rd baby!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love Flip and Best bottom products!
ReplyDeleteWould like to try Flip.
ReplyDeleteI would want a new born size or OS diaper. I am not sure what brand. It would got to one of my many friends who recently told me they were thinking about using cloth on their new LOs.
ReplyDeleteI've been using cloth diapers for 21 years. My children range from age 21 to 1 and I have used cloth diapers with all of them. Let me say cloth diapers are so much better now than they were 21 years ago.
ReplyDeleteWe mainly use prefolds, but I've been wanting to try out the hybrid systems like best bottoms.
ReplyDeleteI would love to try the Blueberry Simplex or the BumGenius Elemental.
ReplyDeleteThe Blueberry One Size Simplex AIO Diaper catches my eye!!!!!! love it!
ReplyDeleteI like the hot pink one! I never really had a lot of girly girl stuff (I mostly had gender neutral baby stuff) for my first daughter, who is now 5. My second baby girl is only 3 months and we could really use a diaper pail! I use both cloth and disposables.
ReplyDeleteI am new to cloth diapering, and did not do it with my first 2 kids. I do a mix of cloth and disposable with my baby girl though, and I love cloth! I really like the adorable patterns, and it definitely saves you money in the long run. What I love the most is how much better for the environment it is than disposable!
ReplyDeleteI really like the Blueberry One Size Simplex AIO Diaper! I also love so many of the cute patterns and colors that it comes in, it would be hard to choose just one!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is the Blueberry Elephant print!
ReplyDeleteThose Spence and Marie diapers are adorable.
ReplyDeleteI love the money!
ReplyDeleteWe are still waiting on our baby boy, but we decided to use cloth diapers for environmental and monetary reasons.
ReplyDeleteWe have cloth diapered my daughter from birth. She is 2 1/2 so now we are only cloth diapering at night and then use cloth trainers during the day. I can't wait to cloth diaper another little baby for the savings but mostly for the cute factor.
ReplyDeleteI love that they are eco-friendly! Thanks for the chance to win :)
ReplyDeleteI like the bumGenius Marie & Spence! Thanks for the chance to win :)
ReplyDelete9 months, now diapering 2 babes. At first it was because it was cheaper, now it's because of the love!
ReplyDelete11 layers of birdseye fabric sounds interesting!
ReplyDeleteI haven't started yet but really want to start because it would save me money and it is good for the environment.
ReplyDeleteI like the Blueberry Capri Diaper Covers.
ReplyDeleteI'm choosing to use them because they're better for the environment.
ReplyDeleteThe Owl Planet Wise Diaper Cover looks very nice!
ReplyDelete
