Happy Easter, Love MCO

Hello my lovely readers! I want to personally wish you all a very Happy Easter! Our Easter started on Friday when Grandma and Grandpa came into town! We were all so excited, especially Baby A! On Saturday we went to a big Easter Egg Hunt at a local farm and Baby A absolutely loved it! He knew exactly what to do thanks to me and Grandma setting up a mock Easter Egg Hunt in the toy room on Friday night. We were thankful that the farm allowed us to participate in the egg hunt without paying for Baby A, they were very understanding that A) He probably wouldn't completely know what to do anyway, and B) He isn't allowed to have candy! Baby A had lots of fun putting eggs into his basket and taking them out as I watched proudly snapping way to many pictures!

Sew Red Review & Giveaway

For Christmas last year, I was so excited when my mom bought me my first ever sewing machine! I couldn't wait for it to arrive and when I did I was so excited to teach myself how to sew. I've done a few projects since receiving it, but I will admit that they weren't exactly amazing. I've been so busy with the blog lately that I've hardly had time to sit down and get back into learning how to sew, but thanks to Jimmy Beans Wool's new book, Sew Red, I am now inspired to pick up some fabric and sit in front of the sewing machine!

*I received a complimentary copy of Sew Red for review in exchange of my honest thoughts and opinions*

Did you know that heart disease is the #1 killer of women? Sew Red is written by Laura Zander and is the follow up to her first book Knit Red. Both of Laura Zanders books are apart of the Stitch Red campaign and are centered around supporting and fighting for women's heart health. Sew Red features sewing and quilting projects that all have the same theme- Red! Along with finding amazing and gorgeous sewing and quilting ideas, you will also come across touching personal stories of the designers various personal experiences with heart disease, tips to staying healthy, and even recipes!

According to Laura Zander, the author of Sew Red, “Heart disease is the number one killer of women in the United States. With Sew Red, we wanted to create another book to help draw attention to this deadly illness, educate women about their risks, and empower them to lead healthier lives. We are thrilled to have the support of such an amazing lineup of designers in this gorgeous book, which celebrates women and their heart health.”

Disney Junior's Choo Choo Soul CD Review & Giveaway!

One thing that you may already know about me is that I am a huge, HUGE, fan of Disney. Disney Junior has become an early morning ritual for Baby A and I to enjoy our hot beverages (him- milk, me- coffee) and take a little time for ourselves to wake up. Whether it be Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Jake and the Neverland Pirates, Sofia the First, Chuggington, or Doc McStuffins, I could pretty much sing along with every shows theme song. I'm not saying that we spend hours upon hours in front of the TV, but lets face it, Disney Junior songs are catchy!

*I received a complimentary Choo-Choo Soul CD for review in exchange for my honest thoughts and opinions*

There are some mornings when Baby A and I get lucky and catch the Choo-Choo Soul music video that usually comes on between shows. Baby A always stops doing whatever he may be doing when the tell tale sound of "Chugga, PSSH, Chugga, PSSH, Chugga Chugga, PSSH, Chugga Chugga PSSH" comes on the TV and automatically starts dancing. He LOVES Choo-Choo Soul. Okay, I'll admit, I sort of love it too. It's upbeat!

Pediped Spring Collection Originals Review & Giveaway

When you think about footwear for your little ones, what brand pops into mind? For me it is always pediped. pediped shoes have fit Baby A the best since day one and they are my go-to website when it's time to buy the next size up. It's true what they say, pediped really are the next best thing to bare feet!

*I received a complementary pair of Pediped's to review in exchange for my honest thoughts and opinions*

pediped was created in 2004 by a husband and wife after their first daughter was born. They wanted a to create a shoe that would be both stylish and comfortable, could be worn inside and out, and that were healthy for their daughters feet. After extensive research they began the company which has become one of the fastest growing footwear brands in the US and has quickly expanded to all over the world. pediped is commonly pronounced as ped-ie-ped, but is actually pronounced pe[e]-di-ped. Imagine yourself saying the word pedi (as in Pediatrician) - pediped is pronounced the same way!

pediped generously sent me a pair of their new Spring Collection Originals in their new style Aaron! The Aaron is a fisherman style sandal

Kay's Case KidBox Review & Givaway

Just in case you're hiding under a rock, I'm going to let you know that it's 2013. In this day and age, iPads, iPods, Tablets, and other electronic devices are everywhere. I would venture to say that you probably have at least one in your household...heck, you're probably even reading this review from an electronic device that is not your computer/laptop. Am I right? I bet your little ones are infatuated with your iPad, aren't they? I know Baby A is! It's crazy what a little guy of only 19 months can figure out how to do on the iPad. So when little fingers are picking up your expensive electronics like your iPad, how do you protect them? If your child is anything like mine, your iPad is going to be thrown, stepped on, touched with sticky fingers, and everything else you can think of! It's time for a little peace of mind when it comes to a case for your iPad isn't it? Well guys, let me introduce you to my favorite iPad case ever. The KidBox.

*I received a complimentary KidBox for review in exchange for my honest thoughts and opinions.*

The KidBox was designed with both kids and parents in mind, made out of thick, nontoxic EVA foam and a convenient stand that can also double as a handle. The KidBox was created for iPad's 2 and 3 and is even available for the new iPad Mini! Whether you have a boy, a girl, or prefer gender neutral colors, you will fall in love with one of the five colors that the KidBox is available in, and they even have fun and unique names! The KidBox is available in  Bluey, Limee, Mr. Black, Orange, and Pinky!

Being a girly girl, when Kay's Case gave me the option to choose the color of our KidBox I really wanted to choose Pinky! It was hard to pull myself away and choose another color, but I decided to "be fair" to Baby A and Mr. Hunky and go with Limee- the beautiful grass green KidBox! When it arrived I was super excited  since I have been on the look out for a kid friendly case for many months now and could never find one that really 'fit my standards'. I was anxious to rip open the KidBox's packaging and put it on my iPad!

Wallum's Review & Giveaway

"When I grow up, I can't wait to own a house so I can decorate it however I please". Does that quote sound familiar? Perhaps you said it to yourself when you were young, or perhaps you still are saying it as you patiently await the day you can finally own your own home. I know that for me, I'm still saying it. I'm looking forward to owning a home that I can paint, decorate, and redecorate to my hearts desire. Being a renter you are usually not aloud to paint the walls, so what do you do if you're stuck with a boring white wall with nothing to decorate it with? With the help of Wallums, you can add style and color to your homes walls without having to paint or add unnecessary holes in the wall!

*I received a complimentary Snugg iPad case for review in exchange for my honest thoughts and opinions*

I seem to find myself always wanting new cases for my devices, I tend to get bored easily and I love to switch things up! When The Snugg asked me to review their iPad Leather Flip Stand Cover I was as giddy as a school girl and of course said yes! They generously let me choose which color I wanted for my new case and although the pink was calling my name, I decided that I better play it safe and go with blue so that Mr. Hunky wouldn't mind using it out of the house as well! Between the two shades of blue that The Snugg offers, I decided to go with

Little Duck Organics: Tiny Fruits Review & Giveaway

Finding a healthy snack for a picky eater can be a challenge, so what do you give your little duck? You need something with nutritional benefits and that still will be appealing to your little one, with my experience, that can often be difficult to find. With Little Ducks Organics, healthy is easy and fun for your little one!

*I received samples of Little Duck Organic's Tiny Fruits in exchange for
my honest thoughts and opinions on their product(s)*

Little Duck Organics began making healthy toddler approved snacks after realizing that majority of the baby snacks on the shelves were full of added sugar and unnecessary fillers. Zak Normandin, founder of Little Duck Organics, set out to make no sugar added snacks for his two daughters. His creation was simple yet packed full of nutrients, it wasn't rocket science, just simply freeze dry fruit and avoid all of the unnecessary additives! All of their ingredients come from certified organic farms, are certified Kosher and gluten-free, and are perfect for little ones ages 6 months and up.

Little Duck Organics generously sent me all four flavors of their Tiny Fruits for me and Baby A to taste test and review for you! We received Banana Apple, Blueberry Apple, Strawberry Mango, and Mango Pineapple! Along with the Tiny Fruits we also received a handful of the Little Duck stickers which are now stuck to various places all over my house!

The first bag we sampled was the Strawberry Mango Tiny Fruits and we absolutely loved them! Baby A and I devoured them in one day snacking on them here and there while at home and on the go. The Banana Apple went just as quickly a few days later! The Tiny Fruits are small enough where I trust that Baby A won't choke if he swallows one, although it is likely that he wouldn't be able to swallow one fast enough before it began dissolving in his mouth! I am not sure if you have ever had freeze dried fruit, but it dissolves extremely fast and still packs that fruity flavor for your taste buds.

We are currently working on the Blueberry Apple bag and honestly for Baby A this bag isn't his favorite because he isn't a fan of the freeze dried blueberries. I personally love them and think that they taste great but you know how toddlers can be!

Tiny Fruits are small enough for little fingers to pick up and shovel into their mouths easily making this a great, healthy snack no matter where you are!

I feel great about Baby A snacking on Tiny Fruits to his little hearts content because I know that they are not packed full off sugar, or additives, or any sort of ingredient that I cannot pronounce! Literally the only ingredients in the Tiny Fruits are the fruits! It doesn't get much better than that, right?

To Purchase: Visit Amazon, Diapers.com, Whole Foods Market, or Roche Bros.
