Pediped Spring Collection Originals Review & Giveaway

When you think about footwear for your little ones, what brand pops into mind? For me it is always pediped. pediped shoes have fit Baby A the best since day one and they are my go-to website when it's time to buy the next size up. It's true what they say, pediped really are the next best thing to bare feet!

pediped was created in 2004 by a husband and wife after their first daughter was born. They wanted a to create a shoe that would be both stylish and comfortable, could be worn inside and out, and that were healthy for their daughters feet. After extensive research they began the company which has become one of the fastest growing footwear brands in the US and has quickly expanded to all over the world. pediped is commonly pronounced as ped-ie-ped, but is actually pronounced pe[e]-di-ped. Imagine yourself saying the word pedi (as in Pediatrician) - pediped is pronounced the same way!   

pediped generously sent me a pair of their new Spring Collection Originals in their new style Aaron! The Aaron is a fisherman style sandal

that comes in brown as well as navy. As you can tell by the photo below, we received the brown which is perfect for us! Our new pediped's match almost everything in Baby A's wardrobe so they are sure to get a lot of use! The Original Collection is designed for little one ages newborn to two years and come in various sizes ranging between your child's growth.

The Original Collection are made with genuine leather soles for durability and flexibility  and also feature a diamond leather tread which makes them more slip resistant! All around the pediped Original Collection are the perfect shoes for your beginning walkers!

The Aaron sandals that we received are super easy to slip onto Baby A's foot and they open and close easily  with a small velcro strap closure. One thing that I love about these shoes is that they are wide, yet are not classified as a "wide" shoe. What I am really trying to say is that they are spacious enough to fit even the babies with chunky feet and allow for comfortable growth without having to run to the next size if your child goes through as small growth spurt in their feet. 

As much as I love buying new shoes for Baby A, it is really Baby A who loves it more than I do. This kid is a shoe addict! When our new pedipeds arrived in the mail I told Baby A as I was opening the package "I think these are your new shoes!" and I swear to you his eyes lit up and he instantly sat down where I was standing, huge smile on his face, and stuck his foot out at me. Whenever I tell him that we "gotta go" he runs to his changing table (which doubles as his dresser) and stands in front of the cabinet that I keep his shoes in. He loves his shoes so much, but we're quickly approaching the summer months and were in need of a cooler shoe. Living in Arizona, the Aaron sandals are perfect to allow for air flow to still go through his shoe and keep him cool, but the sandal is enclosed enough to keep rocks and bark out of his shoe if we are at the park. Isn't Baby A's new footwear just stylin'?

Baby A got to take his new shoes on a test drive in the back yard while he played on his play structure one sunny afternoon! The grip on the shoe allowed for easy climbing yet didn't slow him down while he flew down the slide! 

We love our Pediped Originals and recommend them to anyone with a beginning walker of their own!
