As a parent, I have become "addicted" to many different types of baby products including but not limited to strollers, cloth diapers, diaper bags, and swaddle blankets. Out of all of those "addictions", swaddle blankets have been a consistent weakness of mine. Aside from loving the adorable prints and color options of the swaddle blankets, I have become infatuated with the softness of the muslin fabric as well!

Although there are several brands of swaddles available on the market, I always tend to gravitate toward Aden + Anais. As you know, I am a huge fan of Aden + Anais and they were actually the inspiration behind Little Boy's Make Believe Nursery! Aden + Anais was generous enough to send me a package of their organic swaddle blankets and a crib sheet to review (which was what really inspired the entire nursery) and I couldn't wait to get them out of their boxes so I could feel the softness of the muslin!

What makes the Organic swaddles from Aden + Anais different from their classic swaddles is that they are GOTS certified and the organic cotton is grown in an environmentally and socially responsible way. The Organic Swaddles shown in this review are in their adorable "Wise Guys" pattern set which features feathers, owls, and a classic white. What drew me to this set was not only that they were organic, but that the beige in the owls would match our car seat perfectly and I knew that I had the perfect set to bring on the go with us. Whether I was using it to snuggle Little Boy or to drape over his car seat while he slept, the patterns would be absolutely perfect! 

The Organic Swaddles are generously sized, measuring 47X47 and are very breathable to help maintain your child's body temperature rather than overheating them. 

The Crib Sheet that I chose is the "Funny Argyle" from their Make Believe collection! Having never of tried a muslin crib sheet with Little Mister, I was especially excited to feel the softness of it and once I had, I was pretty jealous that I couldn't get myself a muslin crib sheet! 

The Classic Crib Sheets from Aden + Anais fit crib mattresses sized 52" X 28" X 8" which is the size of a standard American crib mattress. The fitted muslin crib sheet has a breathable open weave and keeps your little one warm in the winter and cool in the summer by regulating their body temperature rather than overheating them.  The best part of the muslin crib sheet is the more you wash it, the softer it becomes! In preparation for Little Boy I washed his crib sheet along with all of his other swaddles and I couldn't believe when it came out of the dryer even softer than when it came out of the box!

Needless to say, the Funny Argyle crib sheet made the perfect addition to the nursery and I cannot wait for Little Boy to curl up on once he transitions from basinet to crib (well, and once he's here!!).
