A friend of mine texted me a few weeks ago a photo of this new popcorn that she had made (originally found on Pinterest). I practically had to catch the drool falling out of my mouth as I stared at that picture. Caramel. Marshmallow. Popcorn. OhMyLanta! Where do I sign up!!??? Last night, I finally got to make some! It was better than it looked in the picture. This is a must share recipe, I suggest you grab some girlfriends and pig out!
What You Will Need:
1 Package of White Popcorn (or you can use your own if you have an air popper)
3 Tablespoons of Unsalted Butter
3/4 Cup of Light Brown Sugar
1 Cup of Marshmallows
What You Will Need To Do:
Start by popping your popcorn as directed on the package, once it is finished pour it into a large bowl (don't leave it in its bag, once you add the caramel and marshmallow it will get messy!) In a small pot, melt your butter (don't burn it!) and add the brown sugar, stirring constantly to create a thick caramel sauce. If your mixture seems to thin add more brown sugar until it melts into the consistency you prefer for caramel. Once the mixture is smooth, pour it over the top of the popcorn evenly. Wash your pot out, dry completely and add the marshmallows. Stir the marshmallows constantly until they are completely melted and pour over the top of the popcorn as evenly as possible.
ENJOY!
Yummy! This looks delicious! My 4 year olds favorites all in one! LOL
