{Mommy's Little Miracle} Lalabu Soothe Shirt

*Mommy's Obsessions received a complimentary Soothe Shirt for review in exchange for our honest thoughts and opinions*

Today Mommy's Little Miracle is featuring the a shirt that is perfect for comforting and soothing your child - the Lalabu Soothe Shirt!

I love baby wearing and I find that it is such a great method for creating a strong bond with your baby. With Little Mister, I didn't start baby wearing with him until he was well into his infancy because it just seemed like most carriers I tried were to big for his tiny body. With Little Boy, I plan to establish that closeness much sooner and am excited to do so with the Lalabu Soothe Shirt.

Are you expecting in 2014? Did you just have your little bundle of joy? Know someone who's pregnant or trying to conceive? Then this event is for you! Alex of Mommy's Obsessions is expecting her second son this October and has created an event that is perfect for expectant mothers! Mommy's Little Miracle is a Pregnancy, Newborn/Early Infancy, and Postpartum event that will be featuring everything from maternity clothing to newborn essentials, to postpartum products you must have! We highly recommend that you bookmark the open giveaway page by clicking on the image below then adding it to your bookmarks bar! Over the next three weeks you will have the chance to enter to win some amazing prizes from items for YOU and things for your little one!

About Lalabu
(As from their website)

"In 2009 my husband and I took a trip to visit my aunt in Burkina Faso, Africa.  While there she took us to the village of Djibasso and we were hosted by Lalabu.  She had newborn twins and taught me how to wear her son on my back.  I was amazed at how easy and comfortable it was and decided when I had kids I would wear them like Lalabu did.  Once back in the states I noticed the wraps and baby carriers here seemed so much more clunky, uncomfortable, and cumbersome than the simple baby wearing in Djibasso.  There had to be a better way!! My husband and I set out to create a simple solution that allows moms to enjoy the benefits of wrapping their newborn without the complexity.  The Soothe Shirt™ does just that.  Worn as a shirt, the built-in pouch comforts your newborn.  When not in use the pouch flattens back into the shirt creating a shapely cover over the built in nursing bra.   I am so happy to share this product with moms everywhere and hope you enjoy it!"

The Soothe Shirt is a combination shirt, cozy pouch, and nursing bra all wrapped into one. It is designed with a simple pouch for you to hold your little one close yet still be able to go about your day as necessary. Whether you're out and about and need to stop for a quick nursing break, or if you're in the comfort of your own home and just want to have that closeness with your child, the Soothe Shirt allows you to comfortably do so all while looking stylish! If your little one isn't in the cozy pouch of the Soothe Shirt, it still looks fashionable for mom to wear out and about!

When I received my Lalabu Soothe Shirt I will admit that I was a little skeptical...sometimes it's hard to tell how products will be when they arrive and I was confused as to how the shirt would look attractive when the baby wasn't in it! When I opened up my package from Lalabu though, I could tell that my mind would be instantly changed!

Being such a huge fan of baby wearing, I fell in love with the Soothe Shirt upon looking at the pamphlet of how to wear and soothe your little one. In my opinion, the Soothe Shirt is a lot like a wrap, but with a lot more convenience to it. All you have to do is literally put it on and you're done! When you're ready to put your little one in it, you just place them into the pouch of the shirt, making sure they're in there securely, and you're ready to go!

The Soothe Shirt is available in three stylish colors - black, gray, and purple! The Soothe Shirt wears like a regular tank top but does include a built in nursing bra so that you can also nurse while we're the Soothe Shirt! Lalabu really did think of everything with the Soothe Shirt! What I especially appreciate is that the Soothe Shirt has a slightly longer hem than your average tank top does, giving you a little extra coverage! The shirt is also equipped with secure seams to avoid it riding up, and to also give you better piece of mind while you're little one is in the Soothe Shirt!

Since Little Boy isn't here yet, I can't speak for how the shirt feels when you are wearing it with your little one snuggled with you, but while wearing it alone it is very comfortable and breathable, and looks cute too! When I tried it on I had just a small baby bump and paired it with my favorite lightweight scarf and capri's, and my friends couldn't believe that the shirt was actually something that I could wear Little Boy in after he arrived! I cannot wait to put him in it and already have plans to wear him in the Soothe Shirt for Halloween when we trick or treat with Little Mister!

  34. My husband and I decided against a carrier in favor of wraps and a few of these shirts because I love how close they keep Baby. The reason I prefer these shirts is so I don't have to worry about the wraps when Baby is napping or Daddy is holding her. I hope they come out with a bunch more colors before Baby is born in January!
