*Mommy's Obsessions received a complimentary nursing pillow for review in exchange for our honest thoughts and opinions*
Today Mommy's Little Miracle is featuring the a product that many moms call a must have for nursing their little ones! The Mombo Nursing Pillow from Comfort and Harmony!
During the short duration of time that I was able to nurse Little Mister, we had a nursing pillow that I didn't really care for and rarely used. When it came time to shop around for a nursing pillow to use with Little Boy I was drawn to the Mombo Nursing Pillow because of the unique shape as well as the optional vibration feature! I liked that the Mombo was more contoured than other competitors on the market, and that it was advertised as not only a nursing pillow, but a pillow that would grow with your child as well!

(As from their website)
"Innovating babyhood for three generations and counting. We‘ve been creating a fascinating world for babies since our founder, a grandmother, came up with a great idea to keep infants from slipping in the bathtub. That was 1969. Since then at Kids II®, even more original and inventive thinking has led to a long list of products that have revolutionized our industry and made babyhood more fun for everyone. We see it as a wonderful growth spurt that‘s allowed us to share our award-winning products with babies and parents the world over.
Everything we do at Comfort & Harmony comes down to two things: Your baby and you. Your time together is so precious—and so fleeting—that we want both of you to get the most from every moment. Our intention shows up in details large and small—the ultra-soothing fabrics, the ergonomic product design, the too-adorable-for-words fashion choices. It all works together—and it’s all meant to make “comfort and harmony” not just a brand but a reflection of real, moment-by-moment experiences of mothers and children everywhere."

The Mombo Nursing Pillow immediately caught my attention because of it's unique shape and the added vibration feature, but what really drew me in was the fact that it grows with you baby by going from a nursing pillow, to a lounger, to a tummy time pillow/prop, to assisting them when they're sitting up. I really enjoy products that give you the most "bang for your buck" and the Mombo certainly lives up to that! The Mombo features a removable vibration unit, two patterned side options, removable slipcover, and more!
The Mombo Nursing Pillow that I received was "Forest Mist" and I immediately loved how adorable the little animals on it were and that (in my opinion) the tree's had a very whimsical feel. The Mombo Nursing Pillow has many wonderful features including Soft 2 Firm Comfort, which allows for the perfect nursing experience. The "Soft" feature is on the top/front of the pillow allowing for your child to be comfortable while they nurse, while the "firm" feature is on the back so that you get the perfect amount of support while nursing!
The vibration unit I feel is a great addition to the nursing pillow - from my experience with Little Mister, vibration really does help to calm some babies down, and if you have a particularly fussy baby getting them to latch may be a challenge. Having the option to turn on vibration for a few moments prior to nursing, or to have it on while your little one is nursing, is a great "perk" for moms everywhere. You can easily add and remove the vibration unit by using the zipper on the back of the Mombo and pulling it out from it's designated compartment! This zipper is also how you will remove the slipcover to wash it as well!
Although my little guy isn't here to nurse yet, I have "played around" with the Mombo to evaluate it's fit, comfort level, and shape, and it exceeded my expectations in all of those areas! As I mentioned before, I had a competitors nursing pillow with Little Mister and I never felt like it "fit" me right, it was always to low and I would have to use another pillow to prop under it just to get Little Mister to the breast! With the Mombo I am able to adjust it perfectly to what I imagine will be the perfect reach for Little Boy to nurse at, and it is very comfortable to have around me whether I am in my gilder, on the couch, or in bed!
