About Belly Dance Maternity
(As from their website)

"As recently as a decade ago, women thought that fashion and pregnancy could not go together. This is when Belly Dance Maternity changed this notion and opened the doors of its flagship store in Chicago's fashionable Bucktown neighborhood. With an urban boutique sensibility and an eye for trend coupled with exceptional customer service, Belly Dance has generated quite a buzz among expecting fashionistas. A pioneer in the burgeoning world of maternity fashion, owner Jennifer Strom Simonte wanted to provide the ultimate collection for women who do not want to sacrifice their style when expecting. The popularity of Belly Dance brought the store online and to New York City's trendy West Village neighborhood. In its next exciting step, Belly Dance acquired NOM, the cutting edge L.A. based maternity fashion line favored by celebs. In addition to receiving wide-ranging media interest, including best maternity store in Chicago Magazine, exposure in national magazines such as InStyle, Us Weekly, and People, and numerous television appearances, Gwyneth Paltrow recently named Belly Dance Maternity as one of her style favorites for the mother-to-be."

I had the opportunity to review the very stylish NOM Char Romper and NOM Black Liz Colorblock Tunic from Belly Dance Maternity and from the second they arrived I was instantly in love. The Colorblock Tunic I have worn several times and it is one of my most reached for shirts in my closet! Whether I'm pairing it with jeans or leggings, it's super comfortable and perfect for dressing up or down! It is made of 92% Rayon and 8% Spandex so it is super soft yet lightweight, and actually reminds me of that "favorite pair of yoga pants" that you can't seem to take off when you're at home, only in shirt form! One of my favorite aspects of this shirt is the back - I love that it doesn't carry the same design as the front!

There are several ways to rock this gorgeous colorblock tunic but by far my favorite is with leggings. It's cute, it's comfortable, and it's perfect for pregnancy during the summertime!

I've always been a huge fan of rompers but I could never find one that really fit me "just right", they were all either two short, or two baggy in some places, so I will admit that I was a little nervous about the Char Romper, but when I tried it on, it was instant love. Not only did it fit me perfectly in every way, but its perfect for the summertime with its light and airy material! The romper is cinched just in the right place so that it lays right under your belly rather than cutting through it like most rompers would.

I felt so comfortable and adorable when wearing the romper! Although it's hard to see the baby bump because the color of it is black, the romper does allow room for your belly to grow so that you can wear it throughout your entire pregnancy. Although I cannot speak from complete personal experience yet, I truly think that this romper will be PERFECT for after baby as well! Since it is a strapless romper you can easily pull one side down to nurse with, and not to mention since it is so light and spaciously accommodating, your changing body can be comfortable throughout all stages!

I absolutely love the clothing that Belly Dance Maternity offers and recommend them for high quality and fashionable maternity clothes! If you're looking for two pieces of comfortable clothing to add to your pregnancy wardrobe, the two that I just told you about are staples in my closet right now and I find myself reaching for them weekly!
