*Mommy's Obsessions received a complimentary Woodland Take Along Arch and Tummy Time Mat for review in exchange for her honest thoughts and opinions*
Mommy's Obsessions has teamed up with Tiny Love to bring you the Ultimate Infant Prize Bundle; the Tummy Time Fun Under The Sea Mat and Woodland Take Along Arch!
When your little one starts to grow and develop basic skills and muscle control, it's important to give them the appropriate amount of daily developmental stimulation that they need to flourish and grow! Tummy time is a huge part of development and although some babies aren't a fan (Little Mister sure wasn't!), it sure helps them build those neck muscles! As your child grows you will also notice them reaching for toys and developing their grasping reflex, so I always loved having a car seat toy arch for Little Mister when he was a baby. Not only did it provide entertainment for him, but it also gave him visual stimulation and helped him build the skill of reaching and grasping!

One of our favorite baby brands, Tiny Love, has recently introduced two new products that we are very excited to share with you; the Tummy Time Fun Under The Sea Matt and Woodland Take Along Arch!

(As from their website)
"Tiny Love® is a multiple award-winning global toy and baby products’ company that was founded in 1991 by Shoshi and Isaac Oren. The couple branched into the field of developmental toys with the aim of creating products that would support baby’s development from birth through 24 months and offer smart solutions to parents’ changing needs. Today, Tiny Love’s products are available to babies and parents in more than 50 countries worldwide."
Tiny Love has always been a brand that I have admired from afar. I love the simplicity of their products and how that each one serves a purpose and doesn't seem to just be "another thing for baby". Not only do their products help little ones develop, but they're brightly colored, simple, and fun! When Tiny Love asked if we would be interested in trying out two of their newest products, I was ecstatic and immediately said yes! I knew that Little Boy would one day adore his Tiny Love products and I couldn't wait to try them out to tell you about them!
The first product we had the opportunity to play with was the Woodland Take Along Arch. The main reason why I love this toy arch is because it can attach to pretty much any baby thing - their car seat, bouncer, swing...the possibilities are endless! It is truly a versatile toy arch that your little one can enjoy anywhere they go.
The Woodland Take Along Arch is adorned with three hanging toys that are brightly colored and allow your baby to grasp for, pull on, and bat at! The Apple features a mirror and hanging teether for your child to enjoy as they get older!
To attach the Take Along Arch to your child's car seat, bouncy seat, or swing, all you need to do is simply squeeze the clip, place it onto the child's seat, and then maneuver the arch so that it faces the baby at the correct angle!
I decided to try out the Woodland Take Along Arch on Little Boy's car seat (we will be using a Maxi Cosi Prezi) and it fit nicely on the handle of the car seat. Since I don't plan on keeping it attached to the handle, I love that getting the arch on and off is literally as simple as squeezing the clips and pulling it off, but the arch doesn't move around while it is attached. When it's not in use, the arch can be folded together and placed in the door of your car or even in your diaper bag!
I really love the Woodland Take Along Arch and think that it is a great thing for your child to enjoy, especially while on the go! It's brightly colored, soft, and isn't made of hard plastic (with exception of the clips) so if for some reason your child were to pull it onto themselves, absolutely no harm would be done! Plus, it's perfectly gender neutral and would make a fabulous baby shower gift!
The other product that we had the opportunity to try out was the Tummy Time Fun Under The Sea Mat! I was especially excited about this play mat because the one that I had for Little Mister was to busy/stimulating and he really was not a fan. I cannot remember the brand or even really what it looked like, but I remember the mat itself being full of characters and it had a double toy arch that was full of dangling toys. It was difficult to get him 'in and out' of and he always cried while being under it, whether he was on his back or his tummy.
For Little Boy I was actually planning on not purchasing a tummy time mat, but when Tiny Love showed me this one I was immediately intrigued and quickly became excited about it. From the looks of it, it wasn't overly stimulating with toys, and when it arrived and I could check it out in person, it did not disappointed!
What my absolute favorite feature of the tummy time mat is that it is three separate pieces that can be used together or not! It includes the mat itself, which is brightly colored and has super cute under the sea characters (including the incredibly adorable baby in a submarine!). The mat is not super thick, so I would recommend using it on carpet or having another blanket under it for extra cushioning, especially if your baby is starting to roll or enjoys thrashing their head about (I remember that well with Little Mister!). Also included is the crab pillow that allows your child to be in a more upright position (you would place their lower chest/upper stomach on the rounded part of the crab) and a fun fish mirror for baby to check out his or her reflection!
As a fun addition there is also an attached toy for your child to rattle around while they are enjoying their tummy time!
Overall I think that the Under the Sea mat is fantastic, especially if you have had a previous child respond so negatively to ones that include large toy arches or are overly stimulating. This mat is also wonderful to throw in the car with you to take to a friend or family members house, or even to use at the park!
We love Tiny Love for our babies and we know you will too!
