MCO's Birthday Bash is continuing our celebration with a must-have Britax B-Agile Stroller!

*I received a B-Agile Stroller for review in exchange for my honest thoughts and opinions*

Britax has been a leader in mobile safety for more than 70 years and is what I feel safe to say- a known household baby gear name. With a legacy of leadership in developing innovations that enhance safety and improve the ease of installation and use, Britax makes a commitment in improving that is unparalleled and is evidenced by the fact that their products undergo rigorous testing within five Britax testing facilities worldwide. They work closely with vehicle manufacturers to encourage design improvements and enhance the performance of their car seats. While Britax specializes in car seats, they also offer high quality strollers that incorporate safety, style, easy to clean fabrics, durability, and longevity in each one. Their strollers also can be used with Britax car seats (and other major car seat brands) to transform into travel systems for your convenience.

Britax generously sent me their B-Agile stroller to try out and review for you today! I have always admired Britax products and have been lusting over them since Baby A was a newborn. I live in a small town and until recently I never had the opportunity to go test drive strollers, so when the Britax B-Agile showed up on my doorstep, I was jumping with joy and I couldn't wait to get it set up so I could put it in action. When the B-Agile arrived I was surprised to see that the box wasn't to big, if I had picked it up from the store I would have easily been able to have gotten it into the trunk of my Honda Accord. When I took the stroller out of the box, the strollers frame and seat were already put together so all I had to do was assemble the wheels and the canopy! Setting up the wheels and the canopy were extremely simple, just snap the wheels in, snap the canopy in and secure it's velcro, and you're done!

When I first took a look at the Britax B-Agile the word that came to mind was "sporty". It has three wheels rather than four and the front wheel can lock into place or you can leave it unlocked so that it swivels making it easy to turn and maneuver. The rear wheels offer an all wheel suspension that will provide a smooth ride even over the bumps in the road! I love how sleek this stroller is, and the best part is that the Britax B-Agile only weighs 16.5 pounds!

To open the stroller simply push on the ridged end of the unfold release latch and give a gentle wiggle. The stroller will pop right open and lock into place!

The Britax B-Agile is a very roomy stroller with a seat back height of 20 inches, 25 inches from seat to the top of the canopy, and is 14 inches wide. The B-Agile has a nonadjustable leg rest that is 10 inches from the seat to the foot rest. Although the leg rest is not adjustable, Baby A is extremely comfortable in the seat of the B-Agile and visibly has room to grow. What I love about the B-Agile is that it holds baby's from birth (stay tuned for info about how to convert the B-Agile into a travel system) to 55 pounds, which means that this stroller can hold your little ones way past their "toddlerhood".

The B-Agile features a 5 point harness that can be adjusted at the waist and at the shoulders to accommodate your growing child. To release the harness you simply push the button with the Britax name and the buckles will pop right out. What I love is that the button is hard enough that your kids won't be able to unbuckle themselves once they get a little older, but us moms can still get our kids out of the seat in a jiffy. The B-Agile also has the harness padding sewn directly into the seat keeping it in place which I personally think is a great feature!!! I would love to see more car seats and strollers offer the padding sewn directly into the seat, there's nothing more frustrating than trying to secure your child in and realizing the buckle is buried beneath the seat. Thank you Britax for making our lives a little easier!

Lets talk about my favorite feature. It's a feature that I didn't think I would ever really care about having, but now that I've experienced it, I swear by it. The No Re-Thread Harness. Wait, did you hear that? I think Angels are singing. The no re-thread harness makes your life so much simpler! Rather than having to take your child out of the stroller, unhook the shoulder straps, re-thread them through the correct slots, reattach them to their anchor, and then put your child back into the stroller, you can now just squeeze two buttons together and slide the harness up or down! I'm not lying people, Britax makes life so simple!!! The harness's button is zipped into the back of the stroller so what you need to do to adjust it is unzip, push the two buttons inward on the harness adjuster and slide up or down to the point where it is comfortable and safe for your little passenger.

Now that you know my favorite feature of the B-Agile, it's time to learn my second favorite feature! I absolutely adore the recline on this stroller, it almost lays completely flat for your child! When Baby A and I are out and about and he starts to get cranky, all I have to do is fully recline the seat and within a matter of minutes he is asleep. To recline the stroller there is a strap recline that allows you to easily recline the stroller (one handed I might add!) and it will stop reclining anytime you stop pulling on the recline strap, allowing you to recline your child into whatever amount of recline they are most comfortable with. To put your child back into the seated position you will want to hold a strap in each hand and gently pull outward until the seat is back in its original position (or to the position you want it in).

The B-Agile also includes two mesh windows that I think are fantastic additions to this stroller. There is a mesh recline window that is at the top of the baby's head so when they are laying down or asleep in the stroller, you can allow air to circulate through the stroller. This is a feature that I found so wonderful to have, we live in Arizona so the weather gets very hot and allowing air to flow in any way while Baby A is in the stroller gets bonus points in my book. I love that the mesh window is the entire top of the seat as well, not just a tiny portion of it! The stroller also has a mesh peekaboo window on top of the canopy as well which is not only wonderful for additional air circulation, but for us mommies to spy on our little ones as well! You never know when they may be asleep! The only thing I am not crazy about with the mesh peekaboo window is that it secures closed with velcro so it can be a little noisy at times but thankfully it is not a big deal if the little man is not asleep! Baby A finds it hysterical that I can peek in on him from the top of the stroller. Nothing melts my heart more than him looking up at me laughing.

The front wheel of the stroller can be locked into place if you decide you would prefer for it not to swivel. To lock it into place all you do is push down on the wheel lock and make sure that the majority of the wheel is beneath the stroller. This will lock the wheel securely (you will hear a small click) and it will no longer swivel. I personally do not lock the wheel, I find the stroller much easier to maneuver and turn around corners when it swivels.

One safety feature that every stroller has is a rear break system. As you already know, having a break system is extremely important to have in case of emergencies, to put your stroller into a secure parked position as you are transferring your little one from the stroller to the car, or if you just need put the breaks on! On the inside of each back wheel, there is a break pedal that you push down gently with your foot, either one can be pushed down, and it will lock into place. When you're ready to start strolling again just use your foot to push up on the break pedal and the break will click into the unlocked position. It's as simple as click and go!

As a bonus for us momma's, the B-Agile has a very roomy storage basket located directly beneath the strollers seat. You can put your bags in through the back of the stroller or by pulling down the mesh siding and sliding your bags in through the side. Storage baskets on strollers are often disappointing and hardly fit a thing, but the storage basket on the B-Agile is roomy enough to fit a small diaper bag or several shopping bags. It's also a great place to stash cuddle blankies and extra paci's when you don't want your little one to see them!

I'm about 5'6" which I think is pretty average for a woman's height and the B-Agile "fits me" perfectly. The handle bar is not adjustable but it is comfortable enough for me at 5'6" to stroll along and it is comfortable for Mr. Hunky to push as well and he's approximately 5'11". The handle also features a comfortable padded grip making your shopping adventures and fun outings a little bit more enjoyable for mom and/or dad!

I mentioned briefly above that the B-Agile can be used with newborns, but surely you wouldn't want to stick a newborn in the regular seat of the stroller! Conveniently the B-Agile can easily convert into a travel system simply by clicking in the two car seat adapters to the Click & Go adapter system! Once the car seat adapters are locked into place, the B-Agile is then convertible with their Chaperone and B-Safe infant car seats.

When you're ready to store your stroller, you will be relieved to see that folding the B-Agile is a breeze. I'm talkin' so simple, you can do it even with a baby on your hip. Trust me, I've done it! There is a small gray button located on the side of the strollers frame that you push inward to lock it into place. Once the button is locked into place, there is a "pull to fold" strap located on the side of the seat that you will pull up on and the stroller will completely fold into one compact, lightweight, stroller that will fit comfortably no matter where you put it!

When the stroller is folded, it measures approximately 23 inches wide, 10 inches high, and 29 inches long.

What I absolutely love is that the B-Agile fits compactly in the truck of my 2005 Honda Accord with room to spare. I can even fit a second stroller in there if for some reason I want/need options or have a friends little one with me! I can't even begin to tell you how much I love being able to utilize my trunk when I leave the grocery store and not have to worry about the stroller being in the trunk!

One thing that the Britax B-Agile does not include is a bumper bar or child tray. Personally I feel that a child tray (or bumper bar) is one of the most important features of a stroller and one that I often look for when I am drooling over strollers at my local Buy Buy Baby. Unfortunately the B-Agile does not include a child tray nor does it include a bumper bar, but lucky for us we are able to purchase the child tray as an additional accessory, and the best part is that it's completely affordable at $24.99!

The child tray arrives in three pieces, the tray and the tray adapters. Putting the pieces together and attaching it to the stroller is easy and it only takes a few seconds to install!

Step 1: Slide the adapters into the child tray
Step 2 & 3: Lock the adapters into place, you will hear a slight click
Step 4: Slide the child tray adapters into the strollers adapter system until it clicks fully into place

When you're ready to remove the child tray from the stroller push the rigid side of the gray button and pull up.

Baby A loves the child tray! There's a place for his sippy cup, snacks, or a place to just hold on to while he sits forward! I highly recommend purchasing the child tray in addition to the B-Agile, it really is a fantastic addition.

When you fold up your B-Agile, you can easily leave the child tray on the stroller and put it into the trunk of your car, ready to go for the next time. I choose to take it off and put it back on each time but there is no reason why you can't leave it on!

I absolutely LOVE the Britax B-Agile and I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a high quality, durable, and affordable stroller. It pushes smoothly, breaks down quickly and easily, and is in my opinion one of the best strollers available on the market. The B-Agile has quickly became my favorite stroller and is the stroller that stays in the trunk of my car for when we need it! Do yourself a favor and pick one up for yourself, I know you'll fall in love with it just like I did!
