{Mommy's Little Miracle} Swaddle Designs

*Mommy's Obsessions received complimentary swaddle blankets for review in exchange for our honest thoughts and opinions*

Today Mommy's Little Miracle is featuring what in our opinion is a baby must have - Swaddle Designs Muslin Swaddle Blankets!

When I first became pregnant with Little Boy, the first thing I started to do was shop around for swaddle blankets that I could spoil my little guy with! By the time I learned about how amazing muslin swaddle blankets were, Little Mister was well past a year old and to my dismay, could care less about the ones that I got for him. With Little Boy, I knew I wanted to make it my mission to get him to love them. Although Little Mister never liked swaddle blankets, I have been coveting two Swaddle Design swaddles for well over a year and a half because I liked the prints so much!

Are you expecting in 2014? Did you just have your little bundle of joy? Know someone who's pregnant or trying to conceive? Then this event is for you! Alex of Mommy's Obsessions is expecting her second son this October and has created an event that is perfect for expectant mothers! Mommy's Little Miracle is a Pregnancy, Newborn/Early Infancy, and Postpartum event that will be featuring everything from maternity clothing to newborn essentials, to postpartum products you must have! We highly recommend that you bookmark the open giveaway page by clicking on the image below then adding it to your bookmarks bar! Over the next three weeks you will have the chance to enter to win some amazing prizes from items for YOU and things for your little one!

About Swaddle Designs
(As from their website)

"Lynette Damir, RN, CEO and Creative Director, founded SwaddleDesigns in 2002. The inspiration for SwaddleDesigns was sparked when Lynette visited families with new babies in their homes and she noticed they struggled with swaddling for two reasons. First, the blanket they were using was too small or too thick, and second, they could not remember how to make a good secure swaddle. The parents consistently asked her to share the secret of the hospital nurses - how to swaddle. Today, SwaddleDesigns is a trusted brand that new and experienced parents love for the quality, style, affordability, longevity, and educational value. Our customers appreciate that our multi-use blanket can be used for more than just swaddling. SwaddleDesigns is recommended by doctors, nurses, doulas, parent educators, and has a loyal, enthusiastic following of moms and celebrities such as Gwyneth Paltrow, Marcia Cross, and Angelina Jolie. Moms enjoy SwaddleDesigns line which offers a wonderful assortment of mixing and matching collections and coordinates with any nursery or parent‛s personal style. With over 1 million products sold, we delight in the thousands of testimonials from Swaddle Fans sharing why they love SwaddleDesigns."

When I got in contact with Swaddle Designs for the Mommy's Little Miracle event, I fell in love with their Ships Ahoy pack of boutique quality swaddles. When they arrived, I couldn't wait to unwrap the package but as silly as it sounds, I didn't want to break the seal! I just love the adorable yet simple logo of Swaddle Designs!

When I did open the swaddles, I loved them even more in person! The Ships Ahoy swaddles have beautiful yet simple prints that are perfect for a baby boy. What I love most about muslin swaddle blankets is that they are so lightweight, not only are they perfect for swaddling baby with, but they're wonderful to use over the stroller or car seat for basic protection from weather or if they are sleeping and you don't want them to be disturbed, and they're also great for covering up with if you are nursing and would like a little more privacy. I even keep a swaddle blanket on the couch to use over my legs when I'm working on the computer!

The Swaddle Designs Boutique Quality Muslin Swaddle Blankets measure 46X46, so they are generously sized and perfect for snuggling baby up in. They are designed with a breathable weave that allows the muslin to regulate baby's body temperature while still keeping them cozy! Swaddle Designs also uses premium cotton yarns to minimize pilling and increase the durability of the blanket. Another feature of Swaddle Design blankets that I really appreciate is that they have a special tag on the blanket that shows step by step instruction on how to properly swaddle your little one! It's always a nice reminder in my opinion!

These swaddles have beautiful yet simple prints that are perfect for a baby boy and are even so cozy that big brother instantly tried to steal them to snuggle with on the couch! I couldn't help but laugh when I came into the living room from the kitchen and Little Mister had all four swaddle blankets piled on top of him, and was smiling up at me with a look that completely said "what, these are for me, right mom?!".

Another fabulous aspect to Swaddle Designs is that they recently introduced their SwaddleClub! SwaddleClub is free to join, can be accessed through your smartphone or computer, and features helpful tips and tricks on how to swaddle, videos with advice on how to handle certain situations with baby, and even free sounds to help calm your little one when they're upset! SwaddleClub uses The Happiest Baby by Dr. Harvey Karp for all of its sounds and videos! There is even a special label on some featured Swaddle Design Blankets so you can scan it on your smart phone! SwaddleClub is a great resource for parents and a great addition to an already wonderful brand!
