Sophie la Girafe is a teether that is widely known through the parenting community for being not only one of the cutest teethers around, but in our opinion, one of the best!
When Little Mister was a baby, we received a Sophie la Girafe as a baby shower gift and I immediately fell in love with her! Although my son never favored her as a teether, the more he grew the more he loved to play with her. Sophie is made from a soft natural rubber and has a fun little "squeak" to her when she is squished or gnawed on. For Little Boy, I knew that a new Sophie was a must since Little Mister still loves his (he sleeps with her every night!), and I was delighted to see that Sophie now had an equally as adorable friend, the plush rattle!

When the Sophie la Girafe Plush & Teether Set arrived I was so excited to open it up and check out Little Boys new Sophie's! Even though he won't be here for a handful more weeks, I wanted to check out the plush so I opened the packaging right away!
Together, these two little Sophie's make the perfect gift for your growing child. If you have a newborn, the plush rattle is great for snuggling and entertainment when you feel your baby is ready, and once they are old enough to start gnawing on Sophie, the teether will come in very handy! The Sophie Teether is made from 100% natural rubber and food paint, so over time her spots will fade but will not be harmful for your child. She also features a squeaker for your child's chewing enjoyment!
I was very excited to find that the plush Sophie has a little rattle inside to give off a light jingling sound when she is shaken. Little Mister was never a huge fan of the Sophie teether until he was older, so I figured if Little Boy takes after his big brother, at least he has a plush Sophie that he can enjoy instead!
As I mentioned above, Little Mister is a huge fan of Sophie (now) so when his brother's "soapies" arrived, he was super excited and immediately tried to take them over. I of course let him check them out to make sure he "approved", then together we put them in little brothers crib so that the "soapies" could wait for baby to arrive!
Our household is a big fan of Sophie la Girafe and have recommended them to many friends and family members! Whether you're looking for a great baby shower gift or something special for your little one, grab a Sophie Giraffe- she's sure to put a smile on your face!
To Purchase: You can find Sophie la Girafe at various retailers across the country including Buy Buy Baby, Target, Amazon, Babies R Us, and more! Sophie's price may vary retailer to retailer but she ranges around $20 and the Plush + Teether Set ranges around $40!
