Crock Pot Pasta e Fagioli Soup

I want to share with you another one of my Christmas cabin favorites!  I'm sure you can imagine cooking for 32 people for 5 days can be a bit of a challenge, when you are trying to find things that everyone will enjoy; yet keeping the cooks from spending too much of their vacation in the kitchen.  For one of our dinners we decided to have a soup night, where each family made a different crock pot soup and everyone got to try a little of each one.  I have to say this was so much fun to do we were all in the kitchen preparing our soup together which turned into some great family time!

My Fairytale Bridal Shower

Hey everyone! You may have noticed that the blog has been a little on the quiet side over the last several days since I have been away from my desk, enjoying the pre-wedding festivities that were planned in celebration of my upcoming marriage.

Pinterest has been a big inspiration in how I wanted my bridal shower and my wedding to look so when my bridal shower was transformed into the fairytale I had been dreaming of in my head, I was over the moon. From chalkboards to garland, sparkles to lace, my shower embodied everything that I had been dreaming of as my grandparents house was transformed into my own personal slice of girly heaven.

I am so excited to share some of these pictures with you, it's a little ridiculous. My shower was just yesterday afterall. I guess that just shows how much I love each and every one of you! So here we go :)

Granny's 4 Chip Cookies

For Christmas this year my family decided to rent a cabin in Northern Arizona, we were hoping to have our first White Christmas, and we thought it would be so much fun to have everyone in one house for the holiday!  Well, we were right it was a blast even though we didn't get our White Christmas!  I have a fairly large family and unfortunately there was a few that couldn't make it, but for 5 days we had 32 people living in one house... I'm sure a lot of you are thinking no way would I want to be cooped up in a house with that many people for so long, but lucky for me I have an amazing family and everything went surprisingly smooth.  I can't wait to do it again next year!

Being a very busy wife and mother there is nothing I love more then an easy yet delicious meal to cook for my family!
