Let's be real and admit for a minute, that sometimes the dark can be a scary thing, even for us adults. You know, the dark when you can't see your hand infront of your face...and then you hear a bump? Well it can freak me out a bit, & I am guessing it's a safe bet to say I'm not alone in that. So when my Buddy hit the age of 2 and became terrified of going to bed in the dark, it broke my heart. He's 5 1/2 now, and we've been able to find a few things that soothe him at bed time, including a fun nightlight.
Now that our Lil Stinker is 2 1/2 , we've recently gone through the "scared" phase with him also. However, the same things that soothe our Buddy , didn't work for Lil Stinker. The same light that Buddy found comfort in actually made Lil Stinker more scared. Since they share a room this made bedtime a great challenge. So, I was thrilled when I was given the chance to try out one of Uncle Milton Toy's new Wall Friends.
The Wall Friends are available in your most loved Disney characters, so they are sure to help your little one be happy at what can be one of the hardest times of their day. When our Mickey friend arrived, set up was so easy. With a total of 5 AA batteries and about 3 minutes, Mickey was on the wall and ready to go.
Not only will your Wall Friend, illuminate the room for your little one, but it will also talk to your kiddo. You can go here to hear what the Mickey Friend says. My Lil Stinker loves this feature, and so do I. It really is fun to see the joy that the Wall Friend brings my little guy.
If I had one complaint about the Wall Friend, it would be the fact that you must have the remote to turn have the friend light up. My Lil Stinker loves to sleep with the remote so he can hear Mickey talk through the night & sometimes it will fall behind his bed in the middle of the night. Or he will carry it around during the day and it will get misplaced. Then when bed time comes we can't turn on the light until the remote is found. Obviously this can be solved by just keeping the remote on their dresser, but sometimes that just doesn't happen, so I do wish there was a way to turn it on by the actual unit. Other than that, we love the Wall Friend!
You can purchase your own Wall Friend for $34.99 and one of you will win your choice of Wall Friend. Please fill out the entry form below for your chance to win. This giveaway will end on Wednesday 11/20 Good Luck!!
