Petunia Pickle Bottom's Notting Hill Stop Sashay Satchel Review AND GIVEAWAY!!!

Oh sweet Petunia. Love does not begin to describe the feelings that I have for these diaper bags. If you've been a fan of Mommys Craft Obsession for a while you know that Petunia Pickle Bottom is my go-to diaper bag brand and that I will happily talk about these bags until I am blue in the face. Just a few weeks ago their Fall line made it's debut and made the hearts of moms everywhere flutter. 

One of Petunia Pickle Bottom's newest fabric choices is their Embossed Collection. Debuting in seven gorgeous color choices, from vibrant [almost] neons, to dark colors that are perfect for winter.

Notting Hill Stop Sashay Satchel.

The Sashay Satchel is one of Petunia Pickle Bottom's most popular diaper bag due to it's undeniable style and functionality. This gorgeous diaper bag has a length of 13.25", a height of 15", and a width of 5.5", so there is plenty of room to pack all of your child's belongings, or even use it as a bag for mom!

What I love about the Sashay Satchel is that it fully zips closed, giving you piece of mind that your belongings are not out in the open and if you accidentally tip the bag over the contents of your bag won't be all over the floor or car. When you purchase the Sashay Satchel, not only do you get a gorgeous diaper bag, but it also includes a monogrammed plastic wipes case and a wipeable changing pad for those quick diaper changes on the go!

What makes the Embossed Collection of Petunia Pickle Bottom's diaper bags unique is, well, that it is embossed!! The gorgeous vibrant coral of the bag is embossed with neon pink threading to create the illusion of one of Petunia Pickle Bottom's most popular floral patterns. The bag also includes beautiful silver hardware and the new Petunia Pickle Bottom nameplate. 

If you're looking for a bag that is both gorgeous and functional, you're reading the right review. The Sashay Satchel meets the needs of even the most organized moms by including a total of ten pockets, as well as the main compartment of the bag. Inside there are two large pockets, two bottle pockets, and a zippered "mommy" pocket, while the outside of the bag includes two magazine pockets (with a pocket inside of the front magazine pocket!) as well as two bottle pockets on the size. For the extra organized moms, there is even an attached key fob so that you never have to dig through the bag in search of your keys!

For comfort and convenience, the Sashay Satchel has two carrying options; on your shoulder or as a backpack. This bag has padded shoulder straps for those who choose to wear the bag on their shoulder as oppose to backpack carrying. I personally prefer carry my Sashay Satchel on my shoulder and if the bag is lightly packed I am very comfortable while the bag rests on my shoulder but I have noticed that if the bag is fully packed for a day out, the strap does dig into my shoulder slightly. With that being said, I always try not to stuff my bags to the brim and if you do, I would not let the straps detour you from purchasing the bag, you could always wear it as a backpack!

If you choose for your Sashay Satchel to be worn as backpack, conversion is simple! The backpack straps are attached to the top of the bag and tuck conveniently into the back magazine pocket for storage. When you're ready to convert the bag into a backpack, pull out the straps, adjust the straps slightly, locate the backpack hardware at the bottom of the bag, pinch the backpack clip so that it opens, and attach the two together! Once you place the backpack on your back you will want to adjust the straps so that they fit comfortably to your body and you are able to move around without the straps sliding off of your shoulders. 

What I absolutely love about the Sashay Satchel is that it is so versatile! If you work outside of the home or tend to be without your children every once in a while, you can easily change your diaper bag into a mom bag! On the rare occasion that I can escape the house without my little guy, the Sashay Satchel is perfect to carry my wallet, planner, Chick Springs Clutch (that holds all of my essentials - tampons, hand sanitizer, pepper spray, etc), my keys, my cell phone, and my iPad in it's KidBox Case.

If you're planning on using the Sashay Satchel when you head off to work, it easily becomes the perfect work bag! While still holding the same contents as mentioned above, I was also able to include my 13" Macbook along with its charger. Not only is the Sashay Satchel fully functional for a day at the office, but you'll be turning some heads while you enter and exit the building!

If you do not work outside of the home, or you don't get the pleasure of sneaking out of the house alone as frequently as you may like, your Sashay Satchel can resume it's original purpose of being your go-to diaper bag. Baby A will turn two next month (oh my!) so my diaper bag now holds a lot less than it did when he was smaller! In my diaper bag I include my wallet, Chick Springs Clutch, Wet Ones wipes, a wipes case, a wet bag, a bumGenius 4.0 diaper, my planner, Baby A's iPhone (don't worry, it's my very old phone only used for watching Mickey), a wipes case, my sunglasses, a pacifier, and my keys. In the zippered mommy pocket I carry Hyland's Teething tablets, a Cake By Petunia Coin Purse, Baby A's immunization record, and small sample packages of Boogie Wipes. In the front magazine pocket is the changing pad and in the back magazine pocket are the backpack straps. As you can see in the photo's below, I still have plenty of room for snacks and a sippy cup!

I am absolutely in LOVE with my Petunia Pickle Bottom Notting Hill Shop Sashay Satchel and I highly recommend this bag to any mom who wants to combine style with functionality. The best part about the Sashay Satchel is that it doesn't look like a diaper bag, so whether you're headed to work, an afternoon out, or spending the day with baby, pack up a Sashay Satchel and you'll feel like a million bucks!
