Hi guys! I want to share a DIY face mask I did last
night. I love doing homemade face masks
especially when they are made with stuff right out of the kitchen that you
probably already have on hand. Some were
lucky enough to be blessed with beautiful skin by doing absolutely nothing,
unfortunately for me I am not one of them :( I have problematic skin so I am
always looking for new tricks to keep my skin blemish free and glowing. I have found that if I do a DIY face mask 2
or 3 times a week it really helps. I try
to mix them up frequently so I am always looking for a new one to try! I just came across this super simple mask made
with only 3 ingredients so I thought I would give it a try.
All I can say is WOW!!
I absolutely love it my face feels so smooth and clean! I will definitely be doing this one
regularly. I knew I had to share it the
second I washed it off my face and I loved it even more when I woke up this
morning!!
You only need 3 ingredients
Mix all ingredients and watch it fizz!
Lemons – Help with acne, dark spots, brighten skin,
naturally breaks up oil, helps dissolve dead skin cells, and are a good
treatment for blackheads.
Nutmeg – Is good for acne, blackheads, and scarring.
Baking Soda – Is great for cleansing and exfoliating.
I do quite a few of these homemade face masks and will be
sharing some of my favorites with you!!
If you have a favorite please share!
Interesting. It'll probably smell good since the lemon is in it :)
ReplyDeleteI love anything natural and lemon scented- I'm def. trying this! :)
ReplyDeleteNot sure if I did the mask right, but it smells so dang awful. Like rotton seafood. Did I not add enough lemon? Or did someone else get this reaction.
ReplyDeleteThe mask does smell awful but the result is amazing. It made my skin so soft. The smell is for sure worth it! Thanks for the idea!
ReplyDeleteFresh and lemony! And baking soda is a great ingredient - exfoliates without irritating! I make something very similar to this - but instead of nutmeg I use a little whole milk, to add the exfoliating action of the milk's lactic acid. Isn't it great to make nice products at home, that actually work, without spending a fortune?
ReplyDeleteI also love doing diy face mask and also other diy beauty products with regular stuff we have on hand! I look forward to trying this one!
