Today the Thrifty Nifty Mommy Blogger Network is celebrating moms in the 'Celebrate You' Pre Mother's Day Event hosted by Mommy's Craft Obesession with a Whimsey Lane Apparel Review & Giveaway!
Whimsey Lane Apparel is for young girls and women who want to be
beautiful, chic, and modest! They have quality clothing that does not require
layers for comfort, which is their goal!
Do you find it hard to find modest dresses these days? Dresses that are not low cut at the neck/chest and short in length showing too much leg? I personally do not love to dress shop, just because with my body type I don't like form fitting, and sometimes that seems to be the only kind of dress I can find. I don't want any dresses or skirts that are too short and I especially have a harder time with the "top" area (if you know what I mean). When I came across Whimsey Lane Apparel, I became excited that they had cute, affordable, modest dresses!
I received the Ava dress in black (knit) to review. I have to say that it's so nice to have a dress that is modest on my body. Sometimes it's hard to find a little higher cut, but not too high of a cut. This dress is not "form fitting" which I think helps compliment my body. There are 3/4 quarter sleeves that have a small slit on each arm at the elbow giving the dress a little flair.
There is a liner inside, so you won't be having a "see through" issues and it really adds to the quality of the dress. When I hold the dress, there is a weight to it that you can tell it is made of nice good quality. When I wear it, it doesn't feel heavy on me, but has a nice flow to it. I feel that I can wear this dress year round and can wear it with different belts, scarves, shoes and jewelry to add to the dress itself!
Whimsey Lane Apparel's dresses and swim wear are super cute, and I think affordable. Take a look at some of the swimwear, below are a few of my favorites!
