Everyone loves a good cloth diaper right? What about a training diaper? I bet you five dollars that trainer diapers are something that you didn't really think to invest in when you you building your diaper stash....am I right? I know I didn't think about it. So what do you do now? You're ready to start potty training your little one but obviously cloth diapers are a little challenging for your kiddo to get out of one their own. Time to start searching for some training diapers!
Until recently, the thought that I would in fact need training diapers in the not so distant future never crossed my mind. My baby is still a baby after all. Did you know that the training diapers at Crunchy Shop can be used as regular diapers too? It's time to start doing your happy dance!
Crunchy Shop generously donated one of their trainer diapers in an adorable monster print for Baby A and I to review! When I first took Baby A's new diaper out of the package I was extremely impressed with the craftsmanship of this diaper. The quality was great, well put together, high quality materials, and the pattern was absolutely adorable! I was really excited to get this diaper prepped, I couldn't wait to put it on Baby A! The trainer diapers at Crunchy Shop are AIO (all in one) and can be snapped on the sides or pulled up and down by your little one learning to use the potty.
There are hemp and cotton inserts within the diaper for absorbency in case your little babe has an accident, or if you are using the diaper for you little munchkin who is not ready for potty training yet. The fabric that lines the diaper is made from suede cloth so it naturally wicks the moisture away from your child. I loved how soft the inside of this diaper is! I also love that you can literally feel the inserts and how thick they are.

The diaper has two snaps on each side so that you can help your child get in and out of it without hassle. If your child is not ready to be potty trained, the snaps allow you to change your little one's diaper as you would with any other diaper, the only difference is that the snaps are on the side rather than on the front.

Having the option of a diaper that will grow with your toddler and make it easy for to transition into potty training is a great addition to your cloth diaper stash and I highly recommend adding a few to your collection. Not only are they fantastic for potty training, but if you just need a diaper for a short period of time (say after the bath and before bedtime), these diapers a thin enough where they will not feel bulky, but still absorbent enough to do the job! My only suggestion for the Crunchy Shop is for their trainer diapers to perhaps come in sizes rather than being one size because it was a little tight on my chunky monkey. Other than that small suggestion, the Crunchy Shop is fabulous and has gained a new customer!
Edit: The trainer diaper actually comes in larger sizes! You may purchase up to a size 6T for your little one if they are a bed wetter! Thanks for the correction Crunchy Shop, I apologize for the error on my behalf!
