Today I am not only bringing you a fantastic giveaway, but I am kicking it off with a review since this is a never before seen company! I'm very excited about this review, when I received the product I was pretty much jumping up and down all the way to the mail box (yes, my postman knows that I'm nuts).

Do you live in an area that gets super cold in the winter? As your child gets older and is constantly moving around, I'm sure you can attest to how difficult it is to keep them bundled in layers of blankets, how their hats rarely stay on, and how there's absolutely no chance that they will keep a hood up. So how do you keep them as warm as possible? If your child is anything like mine, whatever I put on him,  needs to be taken off immediately. With Tai and Trey Design's Baby Safety Scarves, your little one will stay warm and cozy, and you won't have to worry about it being pulled off!

Tai and Trey Designs was created by Nicole, the mother of two little boys (well, almost! She's due next month with baby #2, Trey)! Her inspiration stemmed from her son Tai and wanting to keep him fashion forward, but still nice and cozy during those chilly winter months. Putting a regular scarf on a toddler is not even worth the time, it will end up taking longer to chase them around the house to get the scarf again, than it will for them to pull it off of their neck. With that in mind, Nicole developed the idea for a baby safe and almost baby proof scarf for little ones to wear, without mommies having to worry! With two main designs- The "Tai Design" and the "Trey  Design", she hit the ground running in hopes of spreading warmth to families all around this winter!

For review I received The "Tai Design" a nice warm chocolate brown flannel with a gorgeous beige backing which makes the scarf not only practical, but fashion forward as well. I was thrilled because Baby A wears a LOT of brown, and the color is perfect for us to get the maximum amount of use from it! Nicole's son Tai and Baby A are only a few days apart in age so I was sent a scarf that would fit Baby A, although you can order a scarf to fit an infant all the way up to school age children! Rather than having specific sizes, Tai and Trey Designs makes your scarf to fit your child, or whatever size you request. To give the scarf just a little something extra, Tai and Trey Designs adorned the point with a medium sized brown marbled button! Love it!

The Safety Scarf will stay on your child even during play with the two pieces of velcro that attach at the end for security. Of course, if your child pulls hard enough they will be able to unattach on their own, however in my opinion it is a lot better of an option than a regular scarf would be on Baby A!

While playing around with the Safety Scarf I found that it is what I will refer to as "Semi Reversible". I say semi because you cannot completely turn the scarf around and have it still attached. Instead I found that if you simply flip the direction in which the scarf is being put on, you can change the look of the scarf and have either the flannel brown facing away from your child's neck, or the beige facing away. Whether or not it was intended to be this way, it is a feature that I really appreciated and Baby A has worn his scarf both ways (depending on his outfit of course!).

Safety Scarf the way it was intended to be, with the beige on the outside!

Safety Scarf flipped around so that the brown is on the outside!

To my surprise, Baby A has absolutely no problem with his scarf! He hasn't even tried to take it off and he has worn it several times. When he's wearing it, I feel happy to know that he is staying cozy on these chilly winter days but I feel confident to know that he looks super cute and fashion forward while he is wearing it! For the photos below I chose to have Baby A wearing the safety scarf the "semi reversible" way to show you that it can be worn that way and still look adorable.

Overall I think that Tai and Trey Designs had an absolutely brilliant idea with their safety scarves that I love that they are geared toward little boys since it is rare to see a little boy with fashion forward "accessories". The craftsmanship on the scarf is great, it is sturdy, thick, and made from wonderful quality material. I feel confident that the safety scarf will last for much longer than Baby A will fit into it! I recommend Tai and Trey Design's to anyone in need of some cozy scarves for your little one this winter! I know I will be placing an order within the near future- these will make amazing Christmas gifts!!
