I will be the first to admit that I love piercings. I have had my ears pierced since I was three months old, my nose pierced since I was sixteen, and I had my belly button pierced from 2008 to 2011. I only took out my belly button ring because my pregnant belly was stretching to much to keep it in! I think piercings are adorable so long as they are done in a classy manner. I have always wanted to get more piercings on my ears, specifically my cartilage and my tragus. Why haven't I? Because I am a big baby. My belly button brought me to tears, and my nose (the second time I had to have it done) literally made me cry. That stuff hurts!! The thought of getting any other thick cartilage pierced sends chills down my spine.
When I came across

Zy Designs generously sent me two tragus cuffs to review and I absolutely fell in love. She sent me the gorgeous
Starlight Grippy Tragus Cuff which was perfect for my personality since I am a huge fan of sparkle, and pink. The Starlight cuff has a very pretty iridescent shine to it so in some light it looks pink, some it looks purple, and some it looks clear. When I first put them onto my tragus at first it felt a little strange since I am not use to something foreign being there, but within just a few minutes I completely forgot that it was in! I gave myself a mini heart attack and thought that I lost them when I realized that I was wearing them but couldn't feel them! They feel just like wearing an earring, the more you wear them, the less you notice them. The tragus cuff has a "grippy" on the inside of the cuff so that it will securely stay put and not move while you go about your day!
I paired my tragus cuff with my barbie pink rose earrings and I adored the color combination. They were super girly and the cuff gave the perfect amount of sparkle. When I went out to run my errands I noticed a lot of the younger generation checking out the bling in my ear and I couldn't help smile to myself that I as A) wearing a cute and trendy cuff that posed as my longed for piercing and B) that I didn't have to go through any pain to get it!
In order to put the cuff onto my tragus I had to stretch it a bit and I will admit that it made me nervous to have to stretch it. Being so small I almost expected it to snap or lose some of it's security, but on the contrary, my stretching didn't seem to affect the quality of the cuff at all. I was very impressed!! Since the cuffs arrived a couple of weeks ago in the mail I have worn them about six or seven times around the house and out and about and I have not had any problems with them whatsoever, they have never fallen off nor has the rhinestone came off of the cuff itself.
I would recommend the tragus or cartilage cuff to anyone who loves the look of the piercing but is to much of a chicken like me to actually go and get it done. It will fulfill your craving of getting a piercing yet you won't have to deal with the drawbacks such as cleaning, care, and possible infection! Plus, if one day you decide you don't want to wear it, you don't have to! You can't really say the same about a piercing can you?
