Austin Lloyd is an Atlanta-based company that offers a monthly subscription box of toys for your little ones. The company is founded on the idea that all parents want to educate their children, but understand that sometimes it's hard or just too time consuming to know what toys to get, that's where they step in and take care of the guess work for you. Each month they send you a box full of toys that your child will enjoy, while also gaining skills that will aide in their overall development.

The Austin Lloyd Box is $49.99 a month if you purchase a one month or 3 month subscription, or $44.99 per month if you order the 6 month subscription, and shipping is free for all boxes. They also give you the option of having the box sent every other month if you would prefer. There is 5 different play levels, and they let you choose the play level your child is at. Your subscription renews automatically, but you can cancel at any time. After your child has enjoyed the toys that you've received in your box, Austin Lloyd gives you the option of sending them back to the company so that they can donate them to charities (return shipping is free).
I was thrilled to do a review for Austin Lloyd! I have a son that is almost 2, and sometimes it's hard to know what toys would be best for him at each stage he goes through, I love the idea of getting new exciting toys for him every month.
When we received the box of toys it was very nicely packaged including a bow, card, and tag to Baby C, I thought that was a nice little touch that added so much. The box comes with 4 or 5 engaging toys that are targeted at improving fine motor and cognitive skills, each item is geared toward the age group of your child. The toys are unique toys and are ones that are not typically sold in chain retail stores, all of the toys are BPA and phthalate free, and inside the card are information cards about each toy.
I love the Soft Shapes Trucks book! It is not only a book but also, a puzzle, and bath toy. The book is made of foam, and on every page there is a different type of truck that pops out, turning the book into a puzzle, and the pieces that pop out stick to the tub walls making for great bath time fun. Baby C has been having so much fun with this in the tub, and he is learning how to match the shapes up to put the cutouts back in the right spots. The Mini-Vehicle Fire Brigade is fun for Baby C as well, it is the perfect size for little hands, it has bright colors, swirls on the tires that go round and round, a blue squeaker on the top that he loves to push, and a cute little elephant driving.
My First Truck is a great truck for transporting little toys, Baby C loves to fill it up with his Legos and the gears from The Vehicle Gear Toy and drive them around and dump them. It has a working hinged bed that's great for dumping, and gliding rubber wheels. Little Blue Truck is a great story about helping others. It also teaches some colors, animals and the sounds they make, and has truck sound too. Little Blue Truck and My First Truck go great together. When I read the book I have Baby C put the animals in the back of the truck like in the book, he loves it!
The Vehicle Gear Toy is great fun too! It comes with an illustrated gear board with pegs for the gears, and six colorful gears. It's perfect for teaching colors and getting them to take the gears off and put them back on the little pegs. When all the gears are on and one is turned they all turn. Baby C loves driving these plastic gears round and round.
This was a perfect box for Baby C, he loves anything with wheels, and everything in the box I received was perfect for him. I would recommend an Austin Lloyd toy box, it comes with great educational toys, you get toys with an overall value that is greater than the cost of the subscription. Another thing I think is great, is that they give to the less fortunate by donating slightly used toys to charities.
