A Beautiful Skye is a Hyena Cart based shop that creates gorgeous, quality cloth diapers for little bums everywhere! The shops name and concept was inspired by the owners daughter, Skye, and it quickly developed into a cloth diaper shop favored by many! One unique feature that A Beautiful Skye offers is what they call "ABS Bucks" which is a credit system that you receive for each purchase! When your diaper is shipped to you it will include one ABS Buck that is worth $1. There is no expiration date on the ABS Bucks so you can accumulate them for as long as you want and redeem them when you are ready. ABS Bucks are not redeemable for cash nor are they valid on shipping charges, however you can save up and get yourself a *FREE* diaper with your ABS Bucks!



A Beautiful Skye gave me the option to choose whichever fabric that they had on hand for my diaper and I was very excited when I spotted the Snoopy print! It looked a little girly but I figured Baby A could rock a girlyish diaper! I decided to go with Snoopy because Baby A and I actually were both born in the same city that Charles M. Schultz lived in! Needless to say, Snoopy holds a special part in my heart!

When the diaper arrived I was more than impressed with the quality at first look. The fabric was incredibly soft and all of the stitching was perfect! The diaper is a hybrid fitted that is one size and will take your little one up to approximately 35 pounds. The outer fabric of the snoopy diaper is a cotton knit fabric with a hidden layer of poly fleece on the inside that makes the diaper water resistant yet still gives babies bums the ability to breathe! The inner layer of the diaper is a cotton velour which is extremely soft on the babies bums!

The hybrid fitted from A Beautiful Skye includes two different types of inserts, a snap in soaker and a lay in insert as well. The snap in soaker is constructed of two different layers that are sewn together at the top for faster drying times. The top layer of the soaker is a cotton velour backed with a layer of hemp bamboo fleece and the bottom layer of the soaker is two layers of hemp bamboo fleece. I love that A Beautiful Skye uses hemp bamboo fleece, it makes the diaper super absorbent and I feel great knowing that Baby A won't be leaking through his pants! 

The diaper was constructed so that the wings overlap on one side giving the diaper a tighter fit on your little one. The rise can be folded to better accommodate smaller babies or unfolded to fit toddlers like Baby A! 

Overall the cloth diapers made by A Beautiful Skye are absolutely fantastic! They are high quality and you can truly tell that they are made with care. Baby A has had the pleasure of wearing his ABS diaper about 5-6 times since it was sent to us and we've never had any problems with leaks or stains, and the diaper has held up perfectly and is as soft as it was prior to the first wash!
