It Works!

I am so excited to tell you guys about a great opportunity I have decided to become a part of!  Do you remember the It Works! One fun fact about me is that I've always had a slight obsession with school supplies. Okay, make that major obsession. As a young adult I couldn't wait for back to school season and I would walk up and down the aisles of Target again and again, picking up miscellaneous items that I didn't necessarily need, but wanted.

The one school supply item that I was always severely disappointed in were the planners. I could never find a planner that had everything I wanted; organization, style, practicality. To this day I still get a new planner every year although I may not be the best at remembering to actually use it all 365 days of the year, I still love having one on hand. Yet I still haven't found a planner that fulfills my crazy expectations. Until I found the Erin Condren Life planner.

Shark Steam & Spray Mop Review: Why I'll Never Go Back To A Standard Mop!

"Babe, I need a new mop".
"Okay, I'll try to remember to get you one next time I go to Costco".

That is the short conversation that Mr. Hunky and I had just a few weeks ago when I realized that my Swifter Mop just wasn't getting the job done. I was frustrated with how long it took me to clean our tile and I needed something to make my life a little simpler. When Mr. Hunky returned with the new mop I had asked for, I couldn't say much aside from "Thank You" since I realized that I hadn't exactly elaborated on the type of mop I was hoping for.

He brought me a standard "mop & bucket" type mop. I gave it the benefit of the doubt and tried it out. 3 hours later my floors were mopped and I was frustrated beyond belief. There had to be a better way to clean. And there is!

Bachelorette Party Take 2!

Before moving to Arizona, my biggest fear was that I wouldn't make any friends. There I was, a 20 something year old women with an 8th month old, freaked out that I'd be a loner mom who no one wanted to be friends with. Making friends is never easy, especially when it comes to females. Lets face it, good female friends are hard to come by!

When moving day came and went and we were settled in our new surroundings, I was lucky enough to be able to meet some of Mr. Hunky's co-workers and their wives, so I was hoping out of the ladies that I met that some friendships would form. It took a while, but within a few months I had become close friends with Daedra, my lovely *now* co-blogger. I had already felt extremely lucky and appreciative to have found such a great friend in such a short amount of time, so when I was introduced to another co-workers wife and became close with her as well, I was ecstatic! All of our boys were very close in age and Daedra and Amanda have daughters that are close in age, so it really couldn't have worked out more perfect that we all became close friends who see each other weekly! Between play dates and our weekly dinners, these ladies have become two of my closest friends and I am lucky to have them in my life!

When they spilled the beans that they wanted to plan me a second bachelorette party here, I was ridiculously excited. Then they broke the news. I wouldn't have any idea about any of the plans until they happened. That included the date, time, location, etc. Being the over planner who hates surprises, I thought I would go insane before the day of the party. Luckily the girls took account of my control freak demeanor and dropped me little clues here and there.
